Artist's Description

"Kali Yuga" is the last of a cycle of four epochs or eras described in the Hindu religion. The name means "the epoch of the male demon Kali"; the era it denotes is one of vice and moral degradation for the human race. (Kali is an evil male incarnation of Vishnu, and is not to be confused with the goddess Kālī, a completely different entity.)
